About Me

The real me, in blue

The real me, in blue

As a 38 year old working mom, I was stunned to find myself dumped, suddenly–divorcing and lonely, 600 miles from my hometown and my family.  These essays tell the stories of my year of coming to grips with the uncertainties of life, and some of the funny, sad, and incredibly stupid things that have happened this year.  I hope you find a laugh and something to connect with in this stylized version of my year of revelations and rebuilding.

I think you are a gifted writer. You should write a book or a movie about your experiences. I look forward to reading it. I think your insight and humor is something that all women can aspire to. Keep writing, I look forward to you being published one day.
